About Us
TH9 Outdoor Services provides practical biosecurity (invasive plant & animals) and land management services that help organisations to manage their environmental and operational risks, address legislative requirements and improve their land management practices.
We support the gas, mining and civil construction industries, as well as federal, state and local government agencies and agricultural clients across Queensland and interstate. Founded in 2009, we are a Queensland based company.
Directors
Belinda Callanan Adv Dip Agri Bus Man, Adv Dip CLM, Dip Agr, Cert IV TAE
Belinda is a hands on director. She has 24 years experience in the Natural Resource Management & Biosecurity (Invasive Plant & Animal) field. She has worked with state and local government together with not for profit organisations primarily in the areas of bisoecurity and natural resource management planning, facilitation, on-ground works, consulting and training.
As Company Director, Senior Trainer and Consultant, Belinda has worked with a number of large energy and gas companies, private landholders as well as various government departments, throughout Qld and interstate. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing procedures for weed hygiene, together with strategic pest management plans for properties and work sites. Belinda has also addressed a range of weed, animal and plague pest issues to minimise their financial and ecological impacts on her clients operations.
Belinda is an experienced Trainer and Assessor and holds a Certificate IV TAE 40116 qualification in Training and Assessment together with a Diploma Agriculture, Advanced Diploma Agribusiness Management and Conservation and Land Management. Belinda has assisted hundreds of companies to train their employees and contractors in proper decontamination and inspection methods for machinery, equipment and vehicle movements together with safe application, handling and transportation of agricultural herbicides and weed identification methods as well as assist in disputes that require expert witness reports.
Belinda has been recognised for her efforts in biosecurity and land management as a recipient of the Queensland Premiers Award and State Government Achievement award. She was also a finalist in the Queensland Young Farmer of the Year and a recipient of the Resource Consulting Services, Future Farmers Scholarship. Belinda’s work has also been published in conference proceedings and also other weed management publications.
Belinda’s pest and land management expertise, particularly in regional landscapes, has been well recognised and puts Belinda in the top tier of pest management trainers and consultants in Queensland.
Ted Callanan
Ted is a management professional with a personal interest in sustainable development. He has succeeded in a variety of roles, having worked with the Stanbroke Pastoral Company as Manager for Resources, the Regional Manager (CQ) for Greening Australia and most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of the highly respected agricultural consultancy company Resource Consulting Services.
As a Senior Consultant at TH9 Outdoor Services, Ted works with clients to develop practical land management planning frameworks and successfully deliver holistic land management outcomes. Ted also ensures our company business structure operates effectively and meets all statutory obligations, together with contributing to peer reviews and client requests for mapping, planning and facilitation.

Graeme Wehmeier (Technical Consultant and On-ground Works)
Graeme has more than 30 years experience in the natural resource management field. His practical on-ground approach has seen him work with a range of government and industry clients throughout Central Queensland. Graeme’s skills, knowledge and experience enable him to readily assess a site’s requirements and implement the most effective methods to achieve a project’s aims.
Mark Keleher (Machinery Hygiene Inspector - Collinsville Based)
Mark is based out of Collinsville in Central Queensland and has a strong background in Machinery maintenance and operations.
Mark Lindley (Machinery Hygiene Inspector and On-ground Works)
Mark is an experienced weed management contractor with vast expertise in corporate large scale weed management. He has undertaken weed control activities throughout Queensland from industrial and infrastructure sites to pastoral properties and even natural areas (including work as a Ranger for the Department of Defence at Shoalwater Bay Training Area). Mark assists our clients to manage weed issues on the ground through the safe application and efficient distribution of herbicides.
